Strain OM-6519 was isolated from soil. The spore chain is Rectiflexibiles section, and the spores have rugose surface. This strain produces lactacystin discovered while screening for neurite outgrowth inducers in Neuro 2a. Lactacystin inhibits proteasome activity. Bar, 1 µm.
