The colonies of Catellatospora species are covered by chains of 10 to 20 spores, which are straight to flexuous. The short sporophores arise directly from the substrate mycelium and form one or two chains of spores. The spores are barrel-shaped to oblong ovoid and non-motile. Bar, 5 µm.
