Transverse section of a nodule lobe of Ochetophila trinervis. The hypertrophied Frankia-infected cells of the cortical tissue are stained yellowish-brown by Lugol's solution. Many starch grains of different sizes can be observed. The central cylinder is free of infected cells. Light microscopy.
