Multilocular sporangium of Frankia sp., strain DDB 01020110, partially bursted at the rounded apical end. Spores are formed in small packages, the arrangement in single compartments is still observable. The strain was isolated from nodules of Alnus viridis subsp. crispa. Scanning electron microscopy. Bar, 10 µm.
