Bifidobacterium  animalis subsp. lactis LKM512

This strain was isolated from fermented milk. Growth is not generally seen on agar plates exposed to air. Cells survive exposure to pH 3-5 for 5 hours. Growth occurs on MRS agar and BL agar.
