Mycobacterium  bovis strain BCG

BCG has been used for vaccination against tuberculosis and leprosy. It is an adjuvant also used in treatment of superficial bladder cancer and malignant a melanoma. It offers unique advantages for the development of a recombinant vaccine which would protect from other pathogens.
